Yumeng Xie is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. She is a postdoctoral fellow in Tingting Wang’s lab at Georgetown University. Xie holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgetown University and a doctorate in neuroscience from Wuhan University. Her research focuses on Drosophila and rodent models to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms of homeostatic signaling in health and disease.
