Suzanne Leal is a professor in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics and the director of the Center for Statistical Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, as well as an adjunct professor in the Department of Statistics at Rice University and a senior research associate at The Rockefeller University.
Leal’s laboratory focuses on mapping disease/trait loci using statistical genetics and genetic epidemiology, and on developing novel methods particularly in order to understand the impact of rare variants on disease presentation.
