Paul Dudchenko is a behavioral neuroscientist interested in the brain areas necessary for memory and spatial cognition. His book, Why People Get Lost, provides an overview of what is known about how people and animals navigate and what brain regions are critical for this ability.
Dudchenko studied at the Ohio State University and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Dartmouth College (on head direction cells) and Boston University (on place cells). He is currently a professor in the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Stirling in the United Kingdom.
