Mentor: Joshua Tycko (Greenberg Lab)
Luisa Fernanda Quispe is an international student from Peru studying neuroscience and studio arts at Brandeis University. Luisa is currently interested in the development of treatments and therapies for neurological disorders, particularly on drug delivery methods and how drugs are engineered to get access to the brain. As a SURFiN fellow she is excited to be working with Joshua Tycko, a postdoctoral research fellow at the Greenberg Lab at Harvard Medical School. Outside of her academic interests Luisa is a strong advocate for people of color, especially of women, therefore she is a member of the Femme of Color Alliance at Brandeis.
