Judith James is a student at the University of Texas at Dallas pursuing her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience with a minor in Spanish. She is involved in her school community by participating in outreach activities hosted by United Mission Relief and Women’s Health Initiative, clubs that focus on providing basic needs to refugees and women respectively. In previous years, Judith shadowed doctors and volunteered at hospitals. She is excited to be a participant in the SURFiN program and work alongside members of the Roberts Lab to analyze specific molecular mechanisms underlying autism.
