Jill Harris is the director of research development and coordinator of autism services at Children’s Specialized Hospital. She is also Clinical Liaison for the New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence where she coordinates training for service providers.
Harris earned her Ph.D. at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina State University and completed her internship in pediatric/child clinical psychology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Harris’ research interests include addressing factors related to improving access to screening, diagnosis and services for underserved families of young children at risk for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), caregiver needs, and transition to adult care. She is also the parent of an adult with ASD. She feels privileged to partner with patients, families and staff committed to improving the lives of people affected by ASD and where there is something new learned daily.
