Mentor: Shannon Cahalan (Rosenblau Lab)

Elysia Colon will be joining the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences as an undergraduate research assistant in the Rosenblau Lab at The George Washington University, where she currently studies psychology. Her research interests include the lifetime trajectory of autism, the diathesis-stress model in family systems and disordered eating patterns in LGBTQ+ youth. Through this work, she seeks to gain a better understanding for clinical applications of her studies and help formulate better diagnostic measures.
