CeCe McBride is the outreach specialist for Autism BrainNet at the Simons Foundation. Before joining the Simons Foundation in September 2020, McBride worked for almost 10 years in public health, focusing on organ and tissue donation and, most recently, on pandemic contact tracing with New York City’s Health + Hospitals Test & Trace Corps. McBride earned her B.S. in biochemistry from Florida A&M University and her international M.B.A. from Vlerick Business School in Brussels. McBride is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and serves as the Simons Foundation Black Employee Resource Group co-chair. McBride also volunteers her time working with underserved communities, mentoring and tutoring high school students and young adults in science and mathematics.
