On January 11, 2021, the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) hosted a SFARI Social in conjunction with the SfN Global Connectome: A Virtual Event.

Members of the scientific community joined SFARI interim director John Spiro for an information session about funding opportunities and scientific resources for the autism research community. The SFARI science team answered questions about the work SFARI currently funds, opportunities for funding and SFARI resources.

Newcomers to autism research as well as those already working to investigate the science of autism spectrum disorders, were welcomed.
