On January 13, 2021, the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) hosted a virtual social focused on the Bridge to Independence (BTI) Award, in conjunction with the SfN Global Connectome: A Virtual Event.
Members of the scientific community joined SFARI senior scientist Alice Luo Clayton for an overview of the BTI program, including updates on the 2021 request for applications. Current BTI fellows, SFARI science team members, as well as representatives from the newly launched Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB) BTI Award program, answered questions.
Current and prospective fellows were welcomed to attend this mingling opportunity, including postdoctoral researchers interested in learning more.
